Putting the ken burns effect component into an existing flash project

    Hi there,

I am working on a flash project at the moment which is a banner for a website. The effect is very similar to: www.miracle-detail.co.uk. I have already figured out createing everything in this flash file, but not tackled the ken burns effect done with the car images. For the project I am working on, my client would like the same effect, but with his own custom images. Is there a way that I could add the ken burns component (on sale on this site) to my flash project? If I can get clear on how you do it, I would be very happy to pay for a licence!!!

    Cheers

    Hi Marius,

I've been following along with the tutorial for embedding a component into your flash project. I have reached the stage where you import your xml file and content into the deploy folder which you need to create in your flash projects library. However, I am getting an error when I try to import the xml file from the ken burns slideshow folder to my project library. The error message I get is: one or more files were not imported because there were problems reading them!!!

Can you please advise me why this is happening? I am using flash CS4 for further information. I have also tried copying and pasting the xml file to a blank notepad file and saving as xml but still not working. There must be a problem with the tags in the xml file???

Please help as my project has reached a standstill and my client will not be happy!!

    cheers

Hi. Note we need all files, plus a working link to the website. www.miracle-detail.co.uk does not work.

    Hi bobocel,

The link to the miracle detail site is: http://www.miracledetail.co.uk/

I will send you the contents of my project file so far. I bought the component to simulate the way the images scroll in the miracle detail website, so I'm at the stage of integrating the ken burns effect into my project.

Will I send over just the contents of my project folder or do you want my ken burns folder contents too (as you will already have the exact same files at your end).

    Regards

Just wondering if you are any further forward with the xml issue? Hopefully you have received all the necessary files, and if not, please let me know.
