Display high quality images without taking the entire area of your website. The large image is displayed in small size on the left side, while the right side holds the large image and allows you to move the image around, by controlling the speed and direction with the mouse.

You can easily adjust the size of the component by editing the size with a text editor, so using it in html or Flash doesn’t require any changes from the FLA.

The width of the smaller image is customizable from the XML file, and the height is equal with the component height, minus the controller height (prev / next buttons – 30px). The remaining space is used for the large image, and this can be of any width you need it at.

You should fit the small image correctly in the left area, otherwise the code automatically resizes the image and positions it correctly. Although it is possible to use smaller images, we recommend using them at the exact size so that it looks crisp and clear.

The XML supports an unlimited number of images, and each image is loaded only when the user interacts with the navigation buttons. The previously loaded images remain loaded, so that the user doesn’t have to download the larger image or the smaller one again.

when i load into my project with addChild i got this message:

TypeError: Error #1009: Não é possível acessar uma propriedade ou um método de uma referência de objeto nula.
at Sample()

But when i open only the file, it works... can you help me?

Hi,

We can't know for sure what you did here, but I'm assuming you loaded the external SWF file. You actually don't need to do this. You can copy the movieclips in your project and use our code also.

Once downloaded, the zipped folder seems to be empty...nothing to extract.

- we realised we had the bug from the 28th of April again, and we fixed it.

Update 7 May 2010

- we fixed a bug related to resizing the component

- we added two aditional parameters in the XML, and edited the name of the previewWidth to thumbsWidth (to make more sense)

- we fixed a bug related to the large image movement, which caused the image movement to not work correctly when imported into another Flash project.
