2) The time variable can be changed in Banner.as, here:

                
Tweener.addTween(mcAllItems, {x : -selectedImage * mcBack.width + initialX, time : 1, transition:"easeOutExpo", onComplete : function() : void

                

4) You need to edit mcThumb in the library.

Thanx for this great component!
I just want to know how I embed the swf. file into my Dreamweaver page? I already changed the path in the XML file and placed the whole folder into my webfolder, but when I place the SWF folder into the page-layout, the loader keeps "rolling" but no pictures appear!

Can you help me??

Using Safari's Activity Window you'll see what files path isn't set properly.

This is the most common issues our users encounter, and I believe this is what's happening here as well.

I'm sorry, I must be stupid: I followed all the steps a hundred times, but it won't work! Do I have to change te pathToFiles IN the index.html file and then save the file again? When I check preview.swf in the original rootfolder it loads all the images perfectly, but as soon as I place previes.swf in my page, they won't load...

I hope you can help me....

Yes Andrei, I have. It say´s that Safari can´t find the XML file/path! So there is something wrong, but how can I solve it?

Hi, I was wondering how you change to colour of the navigation bar to a set colour for all images? The downloaded file changes colours after every image and I don't want this. Thanks.

Yes, that and also use a different ID for the component in html, like FlabellComponent2. Check how we did it for the demos.

Uhm, I have a question which is actually easy to answer but since i'm new with actionscript and java, i just wanted to know, how can i remove the transition effect and make it just a simple steady transition from one picture to another (just like a powerpoint presentation with no transition effects at all)?

Hi,
You will need to modify animations from the script in:
project/source/com/vuzum/banner/Banner.as.
You need to modify the code from selectImage() function (line 436).

Hi, the changelog suggests "Use CDATA to set the font size and color." - does anyone have an example of how to do that? I have tried in the xml file and cant get it to change the font styles. thanks

Basically you add html content.

XML Image Slideshow - change log

Update 7 June 2010

- we added an aditional parameters in the XML:

• verticalTransition - if false, the transition is horizontal
• controllerTop - set the controller position
• transitionSpeed - set the transition speed
• titleX - title x position
• titleY - title y position

- you can now add titles to the images, and position them in the XML as well. Use CDATA to set the font size and color.

Update 10 May 2010

- we added an aditional parameter in the XML that allows you to set the transition to fade.
- we changed the file to the new source folders structure, with Sample.as

There is currently no additional help provided for this flash component.
