There is a small problem with the code you pasted above. I'm sorry I didn't notice the first time. The pathToFiles variable should be:
flashvars.pathToFiles = "../"I guess that the flash folder is located in the same folder as the xml folder. If not, it should be, as this is the way you set the paths.
Also, I noticed that the second item tag does not have a videoPath assigned.

when changed to "../"; it went blind.
This flash works same way (except videostream...)
So howcome it finds the images with this "./" and not the videos, pathToFiles is same for both ? pics and videos are located under the same subpath.
This part is from the filter-gallery.html that works now perfectly
flashvars.pathToFiles = "./";
flashvars.xmlPath = "xml/reference_portfolio.xml";
flashvars.xmlPathGallery = "xml/reference_gallery.xml";
flashvars.xmlPathBanner = "xml/reference_banner.xml";
and in the xml-file path as is:
flash/reference/images/main.jpg
in this scrolling-video, xml-files are located just like they are in filter-gallery. Calling html-files are in same folder,
flash paths starts with the same "flash/..."
on 7/2/11
videoPath = "../flash/videoslider/videos/fashion/video.flv"
We're sorry about this.
I don't know why the component works while the pathToFiles = "./", because I tried it and it didn't work. Maybe you have a copy of the files at the default location relative to the component or the page the component is embedded in. But you can try setting the path to the video using "../" and "./".
If it doesn't work, could you provide us your files and we'll try to fix it. If you can do this, please send them at [email protected]
Maybe you have a link to your webpage. This would take less time to figure what the problem is too.
Thanks for your patience.
