Make sure the permissions are set right to the file and folders where the PHP needs access to write. 777 if I am not wrong needs to be the value.

Please open the FLA, and delete the layer that doesn't hold the component. Than move the component to 0x0.

For the nice aspect of the FLA, you could also resize the stage to the size you know you'll need it at. :-)

Publish the new swf. That's it.

IM TRYING TO OPEN THE FLA FILE BUT I KEEP GETTING AN ERROR SAYING UNEXPECTED FILE FORMAT, PLEASE HELP. IM USING FLASH CS3

You have to open the FLA which is built for CS3. It's called productCS3.fla.

It's only for the preview. The file also contains a version that has the background removed.

If you don't have Flash, we can send you the compiled swf, with the background removed.

well i bought this and right now im messing around with it to remove the background, just installed flash CS5, cant find layers anywhere, ive got experience with Illustrator so i think i should like find it but i cant, so help me out please - how to remove that big black background and resize the flash component to something like 250x45

Before opening Flash, make sure you install the fonts that came with your download.

There are two layers only. One of them says: shadow [delete this layer]. Delete it.

On the second layer called mcNewsletter, you have the movieclip which is called the same way: mcNewsletter. Move that to 0x0.

That's it. Recompile the swf (CTRL+ENTER) and you have no background now. It's quite easy to get around this with no Flash experience.

The resize is done through XML or HTML, depending where you plan to use the file. As I presume you use it inside an HTML website, you will do it by editing the values in the XML.

well i did all that (eazy)
but when i delete the background layer, move the element to upper corner 0x0, it somehow gets buggy and out of line the element, the text form box is out of positison
