This slick flash video player can play H264 video files (.mov, .flv, .mp4) as well as RTMP streams. The navigation hides so the viewer can enjoy the video with no hassle.

It comes with a lot of features which can easily be changed using the XML file (size, colors and other options).

Features:

- play/pause button (clicking on the video does the same action)
- draggable progress bar
- auto-hide controls when there is no mouse interaction and on leaving the swf
- rewind & title
- volume bar(vertical / horizontal)
- full screen button

Note: The videos used in this file are for display purposes only.

Ah, nvm. The source file is included (I just purchased.)

A few feature requests/suggestions/observations:

1. Show/hide the scrubber (setting its height to zero appears to do this, but it seems kinda hacky).

2. The downloaded XML file is kinda wonky when I open it in BBEdit on a mac. There are some strange ? chars in there, and BBEdit can't auto-detect the character encoding.

3. When I open the CS3 FLA, I get several messages about fonts. It might be cool to know what fonts you used and where they can be downloaded from.

Oh, one last feature request:

1. Muted by default (this would allow you to have an "initVolumePercent" but start out muted.)

Can I make so the movie doesnt have to buffering the whole video o let the movie start? Couse my movies have to buffering from start to end so the video can start playing.

I want to just click on play and the video can buffering the same time as i am watching.

Hi,

By "buffering" I assume you mean "loading". This player, actually loads the movie as you watch. It doesn't load the whole movie and then plays.

Or you're saying that when you use your movies, they have to load completely before it starts playing? But when you use ours it works fine? Please send us a link if this is the case.

It's possible I didn't understand your explanation right. Please refrase if I did not get you.

No I tested to upload a movie and used your player and then the whole movie had to buffer until the movie could start playing, and then I tested this http://www.longtailvideo.com/ player and it could buffer while playing.

Why is it so ?

I understand your problem. This is usually because the video is not encoded correctly. It must be encoded with H264 standard. But it's weird that it works with http://www.longtailvideo.com/. Can you send us the video at [email protected]? We'll try to solve the problem.

Or maybe you set the bufferTime property in the playersettings.xml file to a large value. Please check that too. By default it is set to 0.
