this is the AS3 coding that i am placing in which i learned from the tutorial but somehow i have gotten it wrong i did change the init from sample init of component to /*init the slider with the xml file*/

That should be it. Make sure you give the MovieClip the same name.

is it possible to rotate the slider 90 degrees, i.e. have it scrolling images vertically depending on the mouse.y position?
