I am trying to use this inside a flash project that i am working on and i keep getting error "access unidentified property mcslider"

this is the AS3 coding that i am placing in which i learned from the tutorial but somehow i have gotten it wrong i did change the init from sample init of component to /*init the slider with the xml file*/

import com.vuzum.slider.Slider;

var pathToFiles : String = "slider/";
var xmlPath : String = "xml/slider.xml";

/*init the Slider with the xml file*/
mcSlider.init(380, 300, pathToFiles, xmlPath);

ok I figured it out after reading through these comments but now i get error stating Init is not a function?

ok so i have now apent about 4 hours trying to make this work and guess what not working lol. I keep getting type error stating that init is not a function yet i am doing everything that your tutorial is showing step by step i need help asap as I need to have this done tomorrow for new website that is launching on the 1st!!! please help asap

yes I downloaded the sample and it says the same the exact error im getting is as follows:

TypeError: Error #1006: init is not a function.
at website_fla::MainTimeline/website_fla::frame1()

I got your files, please note you missed copying the files from our library to yours, and copying the movieclip from our timeline to yours.

That should be it. Make sure you give the MovieClip the same name.

Heya,

is it possible to rotate the slider 90 degrees, i.e. have it scrolling images vertically depending on the mouse.y position?

Hi Tom. This component doesn't have such functionality, but we already have one that does: Continuous Image Slider.
