Horizontal Image Slide on Mouse Move

This is a minimalist horizontal slider - highly customizable - useful for displaying many images inside a small area on your website. You can use the gallery as a menu, or simply for displaying your content.

Every image can have it's own link, and width. You can set the images in the XML, as well as the component width and height, if used within another AS3 Flash file.

If you use the component inside a website, you can set the component width and height in the HTML.

Features:

1. Optional HTML text description.
2. Customizable colors.
3. Optional autoslide (until the user rolls over the component)

After some more testing it would appear to be because the div it sits in floats right, wigging out the flash.

My bad, will look for a fix for this :s ...

This seems to be an HTML/CSS problem. If you think the problem is our component, than yes, please send us an email at support@flabell.com with a link to your website. We'll take a look and see what's wrong with the flash component, if this is the case.

This wouldn't be a Flash job. Displaying the number of downloads would be a Flash job, but storing the data for each file is another technology's job.

We just build the Flash components. If you need to do more with it in the back-end it needs to call some scripts which, of course, must be written particularly for the website that integrates the component.

Hey, I'm using the component and it works great, however, even after changing the width everywhere I can find, the slider (mouse) location is off. It goes left really quickly, but I have to move the mouse all the way to the right end of it to get it to even move slowly to the right. Here's a link to the slider, though it might change if I figure it out or have to use something else before your response. Thank you for your comment. It was a bug. We fixed it and updated the component. Please download the files one more time and replace your preview.swf file with the one you'll download. It will fix the problem.

Hello Christine,

There's an attribute in the slider.xml file, the settings file this component works with, by default:

speedValue="10"

You just need to increase its value. The XML file is located in the project/deploy/slider/xml/ folder, by default. Let me know, if you need more help.

I've customized "the XML file" of this component to look like the one in EmilySoto.com but still I don't want the images to slide on mouse move rather on mouse click whether it's left or right just as in EmilySoto album and one more thing how can I make the loader background transparent instead of the gray color

Hello Joe,

You'll need some custom coding to make the images slide only on mouse click. This component does not have this functionality implemented.

To make the background transparent, please set this property in the slider.xml file to "0":

backgroundTransparency = "0"

Also, in your code, if you copied it from the index.html file, like this tutorial explains:

you'll need to add this line:

params.wmode="transparent";

after this line:

var params = {};

This will make it transparent.

It's asking me to Deposit money to their site or to transfer money via Bank which is not an option

I'm sure all my information and CC info are correct

This is on the MoneyBookers side. Unfortunately, we cannot control that payment. Also, the CC payments on our side has been temporarily disabled.
