Flip Countdown Timer

When you need to launch a product or a website, a timer that tells your visitors how much more will they wait comes in very handy. This is a great looking and highly customizable flip timer you can use for this exact purpose.

You will set a date in the XML file and the component will calculate how much time has remained. It can take the server time, when it uses a PHP file we created for this purpose, so this way everybody that visits your website sees the same remaining time.

The colors are customizable in the xml file. The flipping cards' size is also customizable. The distance between them is also editable. Also the text size and color also can be changed. Just check out the countdown.xml file from the project->deploy->countdown->xml folder. It's the properties file associated with the component. Along with each property, you'll find a comment that will help you understand what it does. You'll find many great options that you can edit.

Is it possible for this to count UP the way, to give the time passed since a given date?

I have to admit I am frustrated. Paid my money for the download and now see I have to do all sorts of code stuff.
Can't I somehow paste this thing into my wordpress file and be done?

Hello,

Sure, all the files are included in the package. We designed this component in Illustrator, so we have an .ai file, not a .psd. The Flash/ActionScript files are also included.

i bought this timer but i have problem to set white color to the number.
when i set :

                
<cardNumberColor>ffffff</cardNumberColor>

nuber color is not white, it is grey

Hi,

Thanks for downloading our component. You need to precede the color with a '0' (zero) and an 'x' character. This will make it clear that it's hexadecimal value, which represents a color. So it should be:

                
<cardNumberColor>0xffffff</cardNumberColor>

This will do it.

I have purchased the full version and downloaded the files. If i open the html file by browsing to the directory it works fine but if i open through IIS using the same file it doesnt?

Has anyone come across this or have any ideas?
