To see the multiple filters per type, do this:

1. Uncheck all.
2. Select BMW.
3. Select either Cabrio or Coupe. You will see the Z4 has both filters (since the car is Coupe and Cabrio as well)

Enjoy! :-)

Hey,
I would like to ask if there is any chance to buy this product in Flash8 version?
thanks

I'm afraid we only support Flash CS3 and higher, as we work with AS3 and export for Flash Player 9.

Hi. Sure, you can open any of our files with Flash CS3. Just make sure you open the projectCS3.fla file, not the CS4 version.

Ugh, I was looking for something exactly like this 2 weeks ago! I ended up making my own (although simpler) filter gallery. Maybe I will 'upgrade' to this one later after the site launch.

One question though, is it simple to modify the gallery to flow downwards (up and down) rather than sideways (left and right)?
ie. I have a 3x5 grid setup, can this be replicated with this gallery?

Sorry to hear that. :-)

It's not customizable through XML, only by editing some of the code written. Note you must be familiar with AS3.

Alright, I figured it wouldn't be possible through the XML, just figured I would check :D. Looks like it will be a good project for a quiet day. Thanks.

I am working on my online portfolio and was looking for something like this, except that its is a 3-tier navigation system

The Works section: Its going to be a XML driven flash which will pull individual JPGs from a library and the XML could have the descriptions. Mine is a vast portfolio, ranging from Books, Events, Branding, typography to web, plus I have worked for different industries like Banking, Hospitality, IT, Petroleum, etc. And then there is a whole list of clients I have worked for.

I was wondering if this can be customised to something that will allow the user to see my portfolio in 3 different ways — By Category, By Industry and By Clients. I do not wish to recreate different folders and then duplicate anything into them. All should be script driven.

Do you think this can be customised to a large extent like this? Have you done something like this before?

Also suppose if I make my own interface, will it be possible to apply these scripts in a totally new interface?

You can filter by only one level if you want to do that. Please download the free demo and see how the XML works.

Our sample is built on two levels (the maximum it supports). One level works as well though.

If you need to build a different interface, you can either check and see which are the available options in the XML, or make changes in the FLA and code to have even more freedom, but that's where AS3 and Flash skills are needed.

We also offer custom work, so you might want to get in touch with a design and a brief as well, so we can send you a ballpark estimate.

Oh Thank you Bobocel,

So you are saying that this current one doesn't support more than two levels.

So can we do this? — I design my own interface and then pass on to you to integrate the XML and the AS3 part.

Ofcourse before I do so, I will share with you the work in progress or share with you the navigation so that we are in agreement whether its possible or not!

OK, so what would be a ballpark estimate for this kind of job?
Assume its a 3-level navigation either in the form of checkboxes (your design) or something I do totally different. Eg. Like a windows explorer.

What I said, is that from your description, you only need one level. We currently have one or two levels.

Please get in touch at [email protected] for more information regarding custom work. Thanks! :-)

I tell you what I would love and that would be able to have two or even three rows of images in the main initial gallery. If that could be done then I'll buy the bundle!!!

THANKS!!!!!

Note you can download the demo for free and play with it before you make a purchase. ;)

Sorry my bad. I realised you can do this already.

Two questions, does the bundle offer tickets?
I would REALLY like to be able to set the font size of the title displayed when the mouse is over the image. Also the ability to not show the filter category when hovering over the image. TA!

Yep, the Support Ticket is free for any bundle or commercial Flash Component we offer on Flabell.

The other two things are not doable without custom work, so you might want to try and do it in the fla or AS code, and if you can't, get in touch for custom work.

What I really would like is to be able to put the element displayed at the top of the thumbnail and the title at the bottom (when the mouse is hovered over the thumbnail).

Oh and the ability to set the font size. If you can do this I will happily by the bundle! PLEASE, PRETTY PLEASE!

Some other suggestions. When in the actual gallery view...

1. There is no way to set the width of the caption area.
2. There is no navigation for the thumbnails, i.e. a way to scroll through them manually.
3. The width of the "<- Return to thumbnails ->" text is far too wide.
4. Would like to be able to click on an image and it displays it full size
5. I would like to be able to position the larger image top right (with a 10px margin).

This is almost a BRILLIANT plugin. I hope my suggestions make sense, I plan to purchase the bundle tomorrow but could please let me know if these little suggestions could be done.? Ta.

I believe these are all written down in the following page. :)
