Events Tour Calendar

If you are an entertainer or a person that has a schedule to share, this events tour calendar is perfect for your website's homepage.

The Events Tour Calendar is built with optimization in mind. You can display unlimited months and years, starting with the first event’s month, and ending with the last event’s month.

Features:

1. Display one or more months at the same time (customizable from the XML).

2. Add as many events as you need per day/month. Once there are more than can be displayed, the titles scroll at the bottom of the calendar.

3. Display a different title for each event’s day.

4. Use HTML tags to format the text in the events description.

4. The date at the under the title gets shown as "June, 15 of 2010", this is not an ideal or normal way to display a date in England. "15th June 2010" or "15/06/2010" would be better and more meaningful.

5. Option to stop scrolling or control scroll speed would be helpful as it's hard to read. And perhaps an option to stop the "ping pong" scrolling. A one way "ticker tape"! would be easier to read.

How on earth do you get multiple months to be displayed?

I have set...

visibleMonthsNo = "2"
dayWidth = "40"

and made the width of the component to be wide enough but still it just shows 1 month

I am making a site for a DJ and I want him to be able to update the calander of events himself, is there a component to allow him to login to a page and add/delete and change dates, events and descriptions?

He can do that by editing the XML. If you want a login area, you need a CMS built, where the changes he does in the CMS are reflected in the XML of the Flash Calendar.

any idea when the multi month view will be fixed?

Also when the "Next Event" and "Previous Event" quick locate buttons will be implemented?

Great stuff, thanks!

I am really looking to the "Next event" and "Previous event" buttons as finding particular events are a painful scrolling through each month at the moment. Please make the button text configurable, plus loads more colour options!
