Enjoy our first papervision 3D component. This product is still in beta, as we are fixing some issues and adding some new features to it.

Feel free to purchase it at the sale price. The update is a free update for any purchased items on Flabell.

NEW UPDATE:
- the image width and height is customizable now
- you can now set up the planes background that appears before the image loads using the "itemBackColor" attribute.
- now the images have a stroke on over state that; it's color can be changed from the xml using the "itemStrokeColor" attribute.

Enjoy!

can i dynamically call the flash component and have it point to a specific item on load? I'm currently using this to display the products and I want it to go to a particular product on refresh depending on what i click. Currently this is set in the xml file, is there a way to set it dynamically so I can call it and have a specific item/slide load?

i as referring to dynamically changing the var openWithItemNo = "" at load time

It could be done through Flash vars, would that work for you?

I have tried to use the demo index.html on windows through Fierfox and it does not appear to be working.
1) There is a reference to js/swfmacmousewheel.js file that is missing.
2) Index.html has a line after the embedSFW call for
if(swfmacmousewheel) swfmacmousewheel.registerObject(attributes.id);
and is failing.
I have removed both of these lines and the index.html still does not work.
Any ideas?

Dear Steve, the swfmacmousewheel is right there in the js folder. Please check if you have it as well.

I re-downloaded the zip file and found it. I must have deleted it or something stupid.
Thanks!

File updated: we fixed a bug on the scroll bar, and also added the speed parameter in the XML, and the starting image in the flash vars.

NEW IMPORTANT UPDATE:
The file is much more customizable and we optimized the CPU usage.

You can now use the xml file to customize these:

- fullscreen button or not:
                disableFullBt = "false"

- autoplay button with how much to stay on an item and autostart option or not:
                autoPlay = "true" autoStart = "false" timeToStay = "4"

- if the list should work in a loop or random:

	loopList = "true"
	randomList = "false"

- with what item should the coverflow open with:
                openWithItemNo = "4"

- reflections of the items and distance from image:
                showReflection = "true" reflectionDistance = "3"

- planes angle in degrees:
                 planesAngle = "80"

- position of the scroller, play and full screen button:

	controlsPosX = "center"
	controlsPosY = "bottom"
	controlsPosMargin = "14"
	controlsDistBetweenOnX = "2"

- color of the controls:

	controlsBackColor = ""
	controlsIconsColor = ""

Enjoy!

Hi,
the Version releaed on Feb. 10th. doesn't work.
All I can see in the preview is the scrollbar and the turning wheel on the background.

Here's the error message (in german - sorry):

Please let me know when you get this error. When you try to publish?

This error is shown everytime I look at the preview / test the film. Even without having modified anything. I downloaded it again and tested the "virgin" original data. The errors appear when testing from Flash or when opening the "index.html" in Firefox or Safari.

Did you tested the files locally or uploaded them to a server? It's really strange as we get no error.

For example, do you see this error in the preview we have here on Flabell?

I tested it locally. The preview on your website is alright. So was the version before you updated on Feb., 10th. Unfortunately I deleted the old version after downloading the updated one.

Note the XML and everything must be used from this deploy. Please send us a screen-shoot at support, or a link to the files on a server, so we can see what generates the error on your end.

Hi, I re-downloaded it today again to another Mac-Computer and tested the downloaded version. It is still the same errors I reported earlier.
I didn't change anything - just downloaded, unpacked and opened it in Flash CS4 (after installing fonts).
You suggested in your recent reply, that this would be an old version of coverflow, but this is the only version I can access and it is still not working for me.
Any ideas?

You are correct. The CS3 version was broken. I replaced it an re-uploaded the file. Thanks for reporting it to us. ;)
