That is not the issue. I uploaded the new 'deploy' folder and it reacts the same; both my install at microrates.com/john and the stock one at microrates.com/deploy show the same error and both have the /js folder and the scripts inside it in the proper place. There seems to be some kind of syntax error as 'swfobject' is not being defined properly.

The first one was from IE7, this is from 'firebug' in Firefox:

swfobject is not defined
[Break on this error] var swfmacmousewheel=function(){if(!sw...ject:function(m){k[k.length]=m;}};}();
swfmac...heel.js (line 12

Try removing both lines where the swfmacmousewheel.js is used. I'm on Firefox on a MAC, and I don't get any of these errors.

I have this one working fine, but the problem is that it takes too long to load. I have 30 pics. I don't plan to use it with more than that number.
I have tried it in IE, Mozilla & Chrome and the IE is the one that takes the longest. Nevertheless, is there anything I can do to have it load faster?
Other info: pics sizes are 332X500@72dpi on an average of 80k/photo. Loading time in Mozilla was 2:45mins to show the first picture and 3mins to finish loading them.
Any recommendation?
Thanks -Carlos

Hi. You should definitely use less images, or compress them even more. Loading time is affected by how many images you use, but also by their size.

Thank you, Is there a way to configure the circle that shows at the beginning while the pictures are loading? Something like "Please wait, loading images" or the percentage?

Yes, only if you plan to edit it directly in Flash. Do you have Flash installed?

No I don't have it. I guess once I get it I'll look more into this. Thank you very much for your attention!

We can adjust it for you if you don't get Flash, otherwise, we'll help you out when you decide to change the loader.

Hi,

I purchased coverflow a couple of days ago - easy to install and works well thanks.

Just one problem - I am setting autostart to 'true' in xml settings. It autostarts under IE7 but not on Firefox 3.63. I am using Windows 7.

Any help much appreciated.

Thanks,
Sharon

Hello Sharon,

I just checked and it works fine on my Windows7 laptop on firefox.
But make sure that you setup also autoplay = 'true'. It decides if the coverflow will have a play/pause button.
Autostart is just to make the coverflow start on init. It can't work without the autolplay attribute set to true.

Let me know if that was the problem.

Hi Andrei,

I had autoplay set to 'true' and autostart set to 'true' and it has just started working on Firefox - maybe the old xml was cached.

Anyway, thanks for your response Andrei.
