Note the loading takes a bit of time because we used 14 images, and we preload all of them upfront.

If you'd like the images to be preloaded only on click, let us know and we'll adjust the file.

Add an option to the xml so that I can decide if I want to preload all the pics or per click?

We made the promised update. You have the option now to load the images on click or to load all the images at the beginning.

In the XML file, you'll find this property:

                
loadImagesOnClick = "false"

which you can set to "true" and the images will load on click.

Download the files again and enjoy the component!

i have downloaded the trial. if i resize the stage width & height because of larger images there is a white gap between the images, is it possible to have images of diff dimensions?
Also is it possible to have 4 smaller images in a row along with the arrow buttons?

Yes, you can have any number of images, on any number of lines. The variables you need to play with are these:

                
imagesWidth = "243"
imagesHeight = "304"
		
distanceBetweenThumbsX = "0"
distanceBetweenThumbsY = "0"
		
nrLines = "1"

In my example you can see that I used images at half the size, so that two fit on the same page. You can set many lines as well, if you need. The gap is also controller by XML, and it's needed for positioning the navigation. If you plan to hide it, than you could adjust the size by playing with these variables:

                
offsetImages = "37"
offsetNavigation = "10"

Is there a way to add the arrows over the image? I've seen this practice on many websites and I really like it.

Sure. Simply set no offset for the images in the XML. It should work.

Thanks, it worked. Can I replace the arrows with my own images or can I change the color of the current arrows?

Sure, you can change the colors. In order to change the arrows, you need the FLA, for which you'll need to purchase the file.

Also note that the demo is only for local preview purpose. Uploaded to a server it won't work.

Sure they do. Please set the time you want the slides to stay on screen, here:

                slideshowTime = "0"

If set to 0, there is no slideshow.

Yes, I was wondering if each photo could have their comments displayed below. For example, If I have 3 small photos to a page, I would like to display just a small description underneath each of them

In your CSS file set z-index bigger for the menu then for the flash container. make sure they have position set.
