Accordion Menu with Images from XML

Yes, they are absolute links with http in front of them. Here's an excerpt of my xml file.

fyi, I have also tried to change to text link and that works but not image link. Hope that info helps.

Hi Guys,

We're loving the Accordion product and have it working well over the last few months. Am wondering if there is a little documentation for options that can be used in the XML configuration.

We'd really like to be able to tag one image as the 'default' image and have the accordion bounce back to that image when the mouse leaves the scene. I've played with the "startWith" variable in case that was the solution, but haven't found it does anything useful.

Hi. I'm afraid there's no such setting, but we'll implement the startWith attribute to do exactly that. It's now in our ToDo list.

Hi!

We would like to use is fullImageLink, which doesn't work in prepublished preview.swf

When we try to publish ProjectCS3 it publishes but doesn't show titles and captions, however fullImageLink seems to work, when set in XML.

We would need a really quick fix of this, since we expected FLA file will publish normally, this is causing us a lot of trouble, since we can't edit it.

Please read the article in the FAQ related to why fonts dissapear in Flash.

You'll notice you need to install the fonts first, and then edit the FLA file.

we added the myraid, but we don't have Times (but I matched it to Times new roman). Any suggestions on where to get the fonts?

There is no need for Times. That's what Flash uses to replace your font when you don't install the fonts first.

So I recommend you start over, but install the fonts first.

Ok let me try to explain again. If we try prebuilt component fullImageLink doesn't work at all (a bug?). If we publish from ProjectCS3 i there are no titles. We *have* Myraid font installed from the fonts directory and flash sees it. However it still requires "Times" font. If any other fonts are needed, they surely weren't shipped with package.

Please make sure you download the latest version, because I just tried it, and the link on the entire image works flawlessly.

sovled it by choosing the mcText inside the .fla file and changing the font there. Times was selected i changed it to Myraid Pro.

Yes, Flash does that when the fonts used in a FLA file are not installed on a users computer, and he tries to alter it. I believe it also does that when saving a file from Flash CS4 to CS3.
