We also tested if the names are not long spaces like this " " and we also removed the spaces behind and after the chars.

Thanks for downloading our guest book. I don't understand what you want to do with the "\" character. Can you be more specific? You can display "\" the character in the comments. Also this applies to the apostrophy character, it is displayed in the comments correctly. No backslashes were added.
In what situation do you want to use "\"?

This comment " je suis l'as des as" appears like this : "je suis l'\as des as". it's very very bad. I dont want some slashes on my comments post.

You were right, we're sorry for the trouble. We fixed this by adding a function in the php file. Download the component again and use the new php file.

We made an update for this component. It will set the right color for the text inputs, now. We also removed the colorTextOver attribute in the XML files. The over text feature was useless for the text inputs.
