AS3 Contact Form

This contact form lists all modules that you can use. By editing the XML file, you can enable modules such as: dropdown, textfield, checkbox and radio groups.

The validation is done based on the type of content the user has to add, such as a number or an email address. The user is requested to fill all fields, and if he tries to submit incomplete information, the strokes color changes based on the value you send in the XML.

Each item can appear as many times as you need, and the dropdown and radio group can have as many items as you need for each instance.

Features:

1. Set the initial state of the checkbox, radio group, dropdown.
2. Enabled/Disabled states.
3. Label text.
4. Label position.
5. Customizable sizes.
6. Customizable colors.

Edit the PHP

You need to set your own email address where you want the information sent by the user to be emailed to. To do that, please open the contact.php file, and edit the following:

Note we also read the values from the form as follows:

From: $item0
Email: $item1
Continent: $item2
Issue: $item3

And I guess you have PHP installed. Is this a Windows based server?

Maybe php.ini needs to be modified. I'm not sure how. What OS do you have on your server?

hey marius,

i googled allot, i am not sure, but my webserver is registered to dyndns free on the website dyndns.

Its a free registered dyndns, so maybe that's the problem that i can't receive mail because i didn't payed for a dns account. i dont know exactly all stuff about dns.

Hey Marius,

Finally i found the answer to this problem, it was in my server mail options. i filled in the mail smtp of my internet provider( i thought that i need the smtp server from hotmail, but it was wrong), and now i get all the mails with the contact form. hehehe, it was only 1 simple option.

can u tell me how he puts a voice tag all the time in the beat, and if some one is buying the beat, then the protecting voice is gone. how can i do that, is that in the flash player? or is there something ellse to do it. i need it also.

Hi,

To add a voice tag you will need to edit each mp3. It has nothing to do with flash.

Is there any reason why this shows up in IE on my site with a border around it? It seems the black canvas is bigger than the form. Any suggestions?

Hi,

I don't see the problem in IE.

You can simply delete the background from the FLA file and export a new SWF.

I have another issue: I opened the CS3 version of the .fla file just to delete the background.When I did and re-published to swf file, it shows blank swf canvas with a small, white rounded rectangle in the middle. Something must be very wrong with the CS2 .fla file. Can you please help. THX.

another things regarding the CS3 .fla file. It's onlt 150KB with tells me that there's nothing in it. The other .fla file for previews Flash versions is 1.74MB. So I need the CS3 .fla file---the whole thing that was I can fix my contact form.

great component. but no *.asp vbscript contact file? can i hook it to my own asp file instead of contact.php file? if so, right off the top of your head, what do i have to change to get it to point to my own contacts.asp? thx.

I'm sorry but no, the asp version is not available. You will need to change the ActionScript to hook to your own ASP file, in Sample.as @line 40.

Hi,

It seems like you didn't install the font that came with the component. There should be a font called Geneva.dfont in the Fonts directory.

Just install the font and then publish the SWF file again. If it doesn't solve the problem, please send us a message at support@flabell.com.

I tried to remove the shadow layer and export the swf. But the texts disappeared from the form.

I think the problem is that you did not install the fonts we use for the component. They're located in the Fonts folder. After you install them, restart the Flash IDE and republish the SWF file. If it does not work, please send us your files at support@flabell.com and we'll remove the background for you.
