We made small changes all over the website, but I’ll post some of the most noticeable:

1. We added a small fullscreen icon at the top of each file, which will show you the swf directly in it’s own html page.

This is useful for two reasons:

a) you can see the html code used to embed it.

b) you can test it out in a separate page, where there’s no other content. This means you can scroll if it has a scroll or see how it looks like on a simple page.

2. We added a shortcut to all our products. You can now either go directly to one by rolling over the PRODUCTS tab, or click the products tab and search any item you are looking for.

3. Tabs on product details page don’t refresh the pages anymore.

We’re slowly improving the entire website, soon the video tutorials will be up – this is the biggest update of all!

Finally we finished the update on the XML Banner Rotator. What we included? All features requested by you in the comments + we fixed all bugs reported.

This is why we also deleted all comments, so it can have a fresh start. If you find any bugs in this update, please let us know!

In the product below (Content Scroller) we release the scrollbar that we use for all our components for free. It works for any kind of content (text, images), so it’s up to you how you want to use it.

It can be used for vertical or horizontal content, even both directions at the same time as you can see in our example. :)

You can also drag the content by mouse, and the scrollbars update accordingly. Setting up the scroller in your file is as easy as copying a folder in your source folder, and the movieclips in your library.

We reached another milestone, a very important one!

The 20.000th Flabell user will receive from us two gold tickets, which he can use to download any files for free.

This week we’re releasing the first video tutorial on how to use our products inside other Flash files, and we’ll start pushing out the entire list of tutorials we have ready. More changes are on the way, but I’d like to keep these secret, as competition is watching closely! :)

Due to the numerous number of emails we received from users who couldn’t activate their Flabell accounts, we decided to change the registering process, and adopt a new technology called CAPTCHA.

It’s very secure (so secure Google has bought the technology) and it’s faster to register an account this way. Definitely there won’t be any issues related to activating an account now. You can confirm your email address and also change the email address later on if you choose to.

If the characters in the image don’t make sense, simply click on the image and a new set of characters will appear.
