We listened to the request received from some of our users, and we substracted the gallery used in our Photography Portfolio Template to create a separate component: Scrolling Flash Video Gallery.

To sweeten the deal, we also used our Slick and clean AS3 Flash Video Player, and added it to the component, so you can use it either for video, images or both.

The XML file allows you to customize everything you can think of. Please download the free preview, and play with the XML file to see how easy and fun it is to obtain new interfaces and different sizes for this component.

We just updated the Simple AS3 flash video player.

We fixed bugs and added the following features:

- all colors are customizable now
- enable / disable all controls
- back and forward button
- download button
- horizontal volume control if needed
- play and volume scrub if needed
- tooltip
- title for video
- logo image
- up, down arrows – for adjusting the volume

We created and released the simplest and most basic Flash Component so far, but with highly customizable XML settings: Toggle Play Mp3 Button.

Features wise, this Flash Mp3 Player is as simple as possible – play/pause only. The XML allows customizations for everything.

You double checked all your paths and everything seems right, except that the content doesn’t load?

Make sure you have the following crossdomain.xml file in the root of your server, which will allow any server to connect to your server and get the files they need. This is useful when you want to host your files on a server, and the swf files on a different server.
