New Update – track your products!
We know there is one thing that will happen at a higher rate than new product being released on Flabell, and that is updates to Flabell products. We have reached at our fourth update on our first product for example. :-)
With a growing library, it is hard for us to track when an update is released unless we have a system in place (which we do). But it remains difficult for you to know if you are using the latest update of a product which you downloaded or purchased. For this reason we made a small change to your Downloads tab, and it looks like in the image below:

We strongly recommend that you use the latest update of a product whenever you start a new project in which you want to use the Flabell products.
Here is what’s new:
- A product which doesn’t have an update looks like “Flash XML Image Gallery” (only the last download date of the product is written)
- A product that has an update which you downloaded looks like “XML Flash Voting Poll” (it displays the last download date as #1, but also the date and number of the last update, in this case UPDATE 2 was posted on May the 13th, and the product update was downloaded after three days, on the 16th)
- A product which has an update, but it wasn’t downloaded by you yet looks like “Flash Mp3 Player” or “Flash Full Text Search Component” – you can see with bold and red letters NEW UPDATE – and also the same information as #2.
We hope you will find these features useful. We wanted to implement them for users that don’t follow us on twitter, nor read our blog often. This way you will be able to know when an update is available to a product you have purchased or downloaded by simply signing into your own account.
