ActionScript 1:1 – Lesson 1

We’re trying to lead the Flash Stock Market to using ActionScript 3 for the components released to the users, as we want to take advantage of all the new AS3 functionality in our own products too. As long as companies push AS2 files out there, the users will keep using AS2 content and making the switch to the better, faster and more improved language will take even longer.

To help you get up and running with the new ActionScript version, we’re going to be posting useful video tutorials which we think are going to be helpful for your learning.

Our first video is from Adobe TV, and it’s called ActionScript 1:1 – enjoy!

It’s a good start, I like the quality of the video, can’t say I learned that much from that basic one but I do look forward to future videos.

@Xtremefaith: thank you. The video comes directly from Adobe website. We post the highest quality videos only, and the ones we think will be useful to our users ( as we are planning to release only AS3 files in the future ).

Stay tuned for more great tutorials!
