actually i figured that out. I forgot to take out private in the script. But now that i took that our i get an error line 28-33 on the banner.as file located in com>vuzum>banner. it says 1151: a conflict exists with definition mcController in namespace internal. Each line it says something different according to what the line is. mcMask, mcAllItems, mcBack, mcLoader, mcCaption

HI. I downloaded your XML fade in fade out slideshow. I’m having problems figuring out which part of this code to put into my html and where. I’m semi-familiar with html code, but I’m definitely not an expert. Can I give you my webpage address and get you to look at it? The flash player is there, and it looks like it’s trying to reference the images, but it doesn’t seem to find them. HELP?! I feel like I’m almost THERE, with getting it working, I just can’t seem to figure out what’s wrong with it. Thanks

Hi. You should check the other videos, where you embed the Flash project in your HTML page.

Hello. I followed this tutorial successfully, but i need more functionality.

I am attempting to use the KenBurnsEffect component for multiple slideshows. In other words, I have ten different buttons within an FLA, and each button needs to load the kenburns effect with different source images. Is this possible?

Yes, that’s possible, but you would have to edit the Kenburns instance, so that it is initialized with a different XML on the release of each button.

Hi there!
I have some issues whe addin to my existent project. If i create a new project and later add the component as the video shows it works perfectly. When i add it to my project it shoes a 1137 error on search.as line 264. I think it could be beacuse my project could have some similar code for resizing the header or something with the init func. Any ideas? Its possible to implement all the code directly to de mc? how? thank you

Hello,

Yes, this might be a conflict somewhere. We can’t be sure of the solution because we didn’t see where the problem is.

Please buy a support ticket and send us your files at support [at] flabell [dot] com. We’ll solve the problem.

Hello!

Great tutorials and service! I have a question. Is there a way to embed TWO flash components in the same Flash project?

I embedded the XML Image Gallery into my project successfully, then I tried to embed the Flash MP3 Player and got an error saying there were a few movie clips with the same instance name. Since they were conflicting, I got some errors.

Is there a possible workaround to this?

Thanks!
Andrew

Hello Andrew,

Working on so many components, unfortunately, we created some conflicts. The workaround for this would be to fix them. When you import the movieclips into your project, you’ll have to rename those that pose problems. You’ll probably have to do it in the ActionScript too.

If you can’t get this to work, please buy a support ticket and I’ll embed the two components in a flash project, making them work together. I can’t do anything more though. I’ll just solve the conflicts for you.

Send an email at support@flabell.com about this, after you buy the support ticket (please use the email address associated with your Flabell account). I’ll send you the project with the two components working.

Hi,

It works well here. Maybe you had some temporary internet connection problems.

I am interested in purchasing the video player with playlist. I watched the video on how to embed a flash player into your html site. At the beginning of it he mentions something about having Action Script Version what is that? How do I get it? Thanks for your help.

Hello Ramona,

You need to use the same Action Script version(the programming language used by Flash), if you’re willing to embed the player in another Flash project. If you need it in an HTML webpage, this tutorial is for you:

Send us an email at support@flabell.com, if it gives you any other trouble.
